Meditations

• Our minds do a wonderful job helping us navigate the external world. In fact, our minds often get stuck in the “on position” and we have difficulty turning off the constant analysis. Ekstasis Meditations are designed as an opportunity to take a break from the external world and explore our internal landscape. In these meditations, Tom Capshew guides us with his soothing voice and theta brain wave music to imagine becoming one with all that is, dropping our sense of individual self to merge for a few minutes with the Creative Force of the Universe, our origin and our destination. Tom calls this space “the sea of possibilities,” where we experience relaxation, reconnection, and rejuvenation.

Please listen to the Intro first, included with any purchase. There are five bundles, each with a different theme, and all have the same progression toward spending longer and longer time in the “sea of possibilities.” On Level 0, Tom gently guides us out to the oneness experience and then returns us to our bodies. On Level 1, Tom gently guides us out, there is a 3-minute music-infused gap and then Tom returns us to our bodies. Level 2 has a 9-minute music-infused gap and Level 3 has a 27-minute music-infused gap. We start with Level 0 and graduate up a level when we have been able to stay away from our mind consistently for the full meditation for that level.
